Named after an operatic vocal artist “Paul Robeson” or “Pol Robeson” who was an advocate of equal rights for Blacks, the Paul Robeson Tomato is of Russian origin and like most black tomato varieties is not actually black colored. It is dusky reddish brown with dark green shoulders and dark red flesh that is luscious and has excellent sweet/acid balance. Indeterminate. Open pollinated seeds.
